Well what a wasted weekend ! I had high hopes of doing lots of work on the website however the whole weekend got taken over by sport. November 12th - 13th 2005 should be remembered as one of the most memorable in history. O.K. we didn't win any Olympic medals this weekend or lift any world cups - but........ We did spank the Kiwis at Rugby League, We did spank the Aussies at Rugby Union, We did spank the Argies at Football, We did spank the Pakistanis at Cricket and We did spank Tiger Woods in the golf. Nigel Mansell even won the first ever GP Masters Race in South Africa and Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms beat second seeds Lee Jae-Jin and Lee Hyo-Jung of Korea 15-10 15-10 to take the mixed doubles title at the PICC China Open in Guangzhou.

If Sir Stephen Redgrave was doing anything sporty at the weekend then no doubt he won that too - now where the hell did I put my lottery tickets ???

We're Rubbish!

Yep, it's true. We're understaffed and under paid but that's no excuse for the lack of updates. We have been considering major upgrades to the site but as we have over 400 pages that's a lot of work for Badgers with fat fingers. We have changed the  Gwent  page to try out a new look but we can't decide if we like it or not but if we decide to go for it, it will take some time to go through all the county pages. There has been some background Badgering and we are due to spend some time checking out the inns in Oxford shortly so hopefully we'll find time to update. We will definitely be adding  The Lamb and Flag  though as our God Daughter is the brainiest Badger in Oxford University.
What a Day! Fat Badgers Kilo & Reno spent a great couple of days in and around Buckinghamshire, stopping off at one of our favourite inns, the 900 year old Royal Standard of England at Forty Green before going on to Wembley to watch Stoke City thrash Bolton Wanderers 5-0 in the FA Cup Semi Final. We then had a superb welcome and equally good meal at the Swan Inn at Denham
